After seeing some fabulous moon shots by a friend, I decided to try my hand. I'm still having trouble with the exposure but I did get a couple fun shots tonight.
It was dark and I didn't have a flashlight, so I don't know what my exposure was on this, but I did get some of the "man in the moon" and the surrounding clouds in this shot.
And in this one, I fiddled a little in PSE to get the clouds just right.
I'm a crafter, living in the best place on earth - southern California, where the weather is almost always perfect! I love to create and my new 2016 resolution is to get back to it! It relaxes me, brings me joy, relieves stress, and takes my mind off of what otherwise could be very depressing matters. A day at a time ... and something creative every day -- my new motto. I enjoy working with papercrafts, yarn, fabric, and digital scrapbooking. I also enjoy watching the sunset over the ocean and helping others.

I like what you did with the clouds on the second photo! Your moon shots turned out really great. What kind of lens were you using?
Those are fantastic! I really like the effects on the second picture ;)
My lens on here is my 75/300 zoom on 300.
